It's listed for a crazy low buy it now price (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Co-Motion-Quad-extras-/320972245603?_trksid=p4340.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555001%26algo%3DPW.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D7%26meid%3D2238203211328885385%26pid%3D1 00010%26prg%3D1004%26rk%3D2%26sd%3D230852404856%26) of 5.5k. I'm in no way related to this sale.

Sooooo, just curious, what's my Co-motion triplet worth at a reasonable rather than crazy low price?

No fade like that quad, just plain Imron blue.

We just paid 2500 for a co-motion triple with three color fade. Mostly XT group. 10 years old hardly used.

Uh, I have no idea, but given the relative rarity of quads, and the fact that used tandems alone retail for 3 - 10k, 5.5k seems awfully low. I'm guessing 7 - 10k for a quad, 6 - 7 for a triplet.

Happy to see that it's maintained it's value, but I'd never part with it. Co-Motion's first ever triplet, and now that the kids are grown I'm hoping to take the first grandkid for a spin sometime soon. Ok, it may be a while, she's only 3 months old, but that'll allow me enough time to re-install the child stoker BB and cranks etc.
I've already knocked the cobwebs off of it, not too much else to do........

that quad is pretty killer. i think the price point is about right. i think it's a deal if you're looking for a quad, but i wouldn't call it crazy low.

i'm not sure 6-7k is a realistic estimate for an older triplet since you can get a new one for that much. we paid like 7k for our periscope trident with one set of couplers. although they are rarer i think the problem with triplets and quads is that the market is much smaller. sure there's buyers...somewhere, but still i think finding a buyer for a regular tandem is probably easier hence the market pays more.

still, thx for the post. i love checking out long tandems.

It didn't sell so now it has been re-listed with no reserve. Current high bid is $600.

hmmm, looking at it again, i'd have a very hard time spending 5k on an ebay item for a users with 0 feedback. the listing looks legit, but even $600 is a fair chunk of change to gamble on.
