Just got my first bike in ages and love it!! Anyone have any words of wisdom for building strength quickly?

welcome and good to hear about being back on the road, with 2 wheels, Building up stregnth, quickly, I did it with a cheap mountain bike which I rode on a daily basis for 20 miles. Did that for 6 months, then when I got on my Butler it was like flying, which gave me more guesto to go everywhere fast.

Just ride. Often and as far as you're comfortable doing. Add hills when you feel you're ready.
Commuting by bike is a great way to build strength. You get to ride every day. :)
