I'm a roadie and have been riding my Fuji SST 1.0 for the past year.. so I'm retty new to the whole world of Single Speed's and Fixed Speed Bikes and I love it so far. I purchased my fuji feather around 2 months ago and it's a single speed.
The wheels on it pretty much suck (Too heavy and I want a skewer instead), so I was wondering what kind of wheels you all would suggest for an upgrade and where to get a pair? Websites?

Here's what she looks like right now..

And I want a wheel set that looks more like this... (front wheel)

I've already scoured craigslist, but to no luck. :(

Thanks!

It's called an Aerospoke.

It's not cool.

yes, aerospokes will solve this

If you want a quick release front wheel then you will probably need to buy the front and rear separately

You should be more concerned with fixing your jackass bar angle.

Like I said, I'm new to all of this. I most likely won't go with the "aerospoke" then, can anyone recommend me a light weight, decently priced wheel set?

It's alright, we all were at some time.

But really, level out your handlebars. The flat portion(when looking from the side) should be level to the ground.

What do you consider decently priced?

Thanks!

For that price range, you can have a very nice custom wheelset built for you, or you have a huge number of options from velomine.

Thanks again everyone for the input and suggestions.

I was looking at these as a possible option, but I had another question... Do I have to get a wheel set with sealed bearings? Or can it be a set without? or one with a different setup

You didn't link to whatever you were looking at. And you can get whatever bearings you feel like, sealed or not. And whats 'one with a different setup'?

Holy boat anchors. Thats insane.

http://www.wabicycles.com/GXwheels.html - The pair of these is only a little heavier than the weight of the the rear velocity/phil alone. And they're really well priced.

I'm assuming that it has to be a "sealed bearing" wheel set of course. But regardless, I'll keep looking around and do some searching. Would like to keep it as close to 300$ as possible anyways. But thanks so much for the link to velomine, I really like the website and will be getting my parts from them.

They should work out fine on my fuji, right? Just don't want to buy the wrong type of wheelset. :P

Those are not your best option. You run front and rear brakes, so you should get a wheel with machined brake tracks. Fortunately for you, this wheelset (http://www.velomine.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=87_172_173&products_id=555) is available, better for your application, and $5 cheaper.

Looks like I'll have to keep searching around. I'll try searching some LBS's in the area today. But I really appreciate all the help from you guys.

Thanks again.
