Hi all,
My Dad gave me his 1970's road bike when I went of to college and I've been keeping it running ever since. I thought I would look up where this bike came from, and that brought me to this forum:

I was fascinated by these stories and old pictures, especially the 1972 Spiegel catalog! I saw that there were some other people interested in this old "bike boom" era Italian road bike, so I posted links to some pictures of mine.
I sold my car a year ago, and have been using this bike to get to work daily. It's only about two miles, and there is a bike trial from my place almost directly to work. I'm loving passing all those cars stuck in traffic lights!
Anyway, thanks Bike Forums for providing me with some information on my Dad's old bike, it was really cool to read about it.
Best wishes,
Rob
