How do all keep them from sliding down your legs? Last years I started with Ibis legs warmers and my wife had to take them in a bit as I lost so much weight,YEA CYCLING!!, and I just bought Pearl Isumi knee warmer in a smaller size, similar problem.
I have tried wearing them both under and on to of my riding shorts.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Get a size that fits snug. Put them on before you put on your shorts and pull em up as far as they will go. Put your shorts on. Done.

If they dont stay put, you may have gotten them a size too large. For my anatomy, (relatively large upper legs/ quads) they are also kind of a pain to use sometimes.

Also, grats on the weightloss!

pull em up as far as they will go.

Yeah, that's what works for me. Right up to the intimate zone.

Do you have really hairy legs? The gripper on the knee warmers will slide right over the hair. Another reason to shave your legs. :)

Wear full length tights? I don't use warmers, but I have a few pairs of tights, of varying thickness, depending on the temperatures, and one pair of waterproof tights.

Have your Wife, already, you say, a home sewing person,
Put a couple Button holes in the bottom of your bike shorts,
& shirt sleeves,
and sew a couple buttons on the arm/leg warmers.

I hate the grippers on my cheap leg warmers so I just always go with full tights.

I roll up the legs on my shorts, pull up the warmers, and roll the gripping part of the shorts back down over the warmer. Then I ride two blocks, stop, pull the warmers up 2" more, and repeat. The first block or so always ends up with my bending knees pulling them down, but that usually doesn't repeat after the first time.

Correct. Just get tights. They don't fall down.

The body lotion I put on the bottom of my feet also goes on my thighs, it helps grab the knee warmers(assos) till my body starts to sweat, till I'm hot the things just slide around, body lotion seems to glue them down a bit. (keeps the heat outta the feet too)

Tights don't work when it's 30F when you start and 65F when you finish.

Stop and take them off. I tie them around my waist, but I guess that's a bit uncool. For me, 99% of the time I don't get that much temperature change so I don't have to worry.

Do a search ... all sorts of choices :innocent:

I used to think tights were too expensive. Then I bougth a pair and was well worth it. Now I wouldn't waste my money on leg warmers. Too wishy washy and Flashdance'ish.:D

I use endura, the grippers work really well. I prefer leg warmer's as they're easy to take off when the temps climb.
