Foo - Need to Vent alittle-Not bike related

I hate being in management sometimes. Ok, so I'm the Senior Paralegal at a Law firm in Denver. Why can't people just do as you ask???? Its simple, we just told you on Friday how we want it done, its Monday and you forgot already????
I guess to much BEER over the weekend.

Maybe a note tied to a six pack left on their desk on Friday might have alleviated your need to vent on Monday.

I have a horrible memory... too many concussions.

I recommend you tell your staff to write everything down. If you're feeling generous, follow up those mini-meetings with emails about what you want from 'em.

Opie, I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't set up my dog with any of the ladies I work with. The only girl that is young and single could hurt ya if she sat on ya. Now I wouldn't want that to happen.

I've been on both sides of the fence too. We recently had a meeting. During one part of the meeting an example was made by referencing to another department. A couple of days later, one of my coworkers stated that she wondered why we had a meeting at all, because it was all about that other department. When she said that I just walked away.

I'm pretty laid back, I don't really care if your getting your stuff done. I just have little patience for dumb questions. Oh I guess my down fall!!! :rolleyes:

I think what you need is an off site retreat with your bike or tele skis! Just give them all a note with what you want them to get done while you are off thinking this whole thing over. And take a few friends along to bounce ideas off of, you should come back with a great plan in about a week or so. What do ya think?

well, I think if her company will fund such an outing, that I be one of the friends on this company paid excursion!
