Had a race today but bagged it on the drive up yesterday evening. I'm tired. I want to hang with my sweetie. Let's go associate the bike with something other than pain:

It appears that someone is having fun with their new GoPro. :thumb:
That is some nice looking singletrack, and I liked the yelp near the end.
Thanks for sharing.
Edit: why is there an emotion-con header on my post?

Nice ride. How come nobody else is coming the other way? The IS on that camera works well.

I'm taking that video as the official signal to get back on my mtb. Far too long. We have some decent trails around here (for an "urban" location), but nothing like that. Been some "long weekend mtb adventure" chatter among some friends... Reno and Mammoth have been thrown out there. But dang, that's a long drive! Trails look worth it, though.
Looks like fun. As VanceMac notes, trails like that are a bit of a drive from where we live. I presume you're in Reno. Right now I'm focusing on urban bikes until I (big maybe) move to where rides like that are close to home.
Funny too, I've been itching to get a video camera for several reasons, including documentation purposes should someone run me over. However, given how much money I just spent on new bikes...
Why did you decide to buy the GoPro vs the Contour? One thing I've liked from other folks' videos is the GPS capability on some of the Contour cameras. I am also thinking of getting a very cheap camera to face backwards so that I can record things coming up on me. Not too paranoid -- huh?

If you do Reno, let me know.

The reviews I read said the Contour was a slightly better unit for picture quality. The clip I posted was processed from MP4 to FLV format and lost some quality. The raw MP4 is pretty good.
