After too many years out of it. Last time I rode on a regular basis was in October of 97 :eek: Still have a few of my old bikes around; Best of the lot is a box stock Giant Excursion with maybe 500 miles on it. Wandered in to my favorite bike shop to buy a new rear wheel for my college son, and walked out with the bug again. But need to do some serious catching up on what is current equipment. :p I had been a regular rider since the mid 70's raced back then under the ABLA. Gave up on racing in 78 , still a fast recreational rider, commuter and tourist until 97. Now I am ready to get back at the fast recreational riding....need to, to keep my sanity :o So I will be lurking around and catching up...

Still got the front end torn out...waiting on warmer weather and me to stay home for more than a day at a time. :o Working a little closer to home this year, so maybe.... :rolleyes:

Gotcha.

I didn't know you once raced. Never heard of ABLA. Must be before my time. :p

Maybe we can get together and ride one day at an Airstream rally. I'm thinking about doing the April forums rally in GA.

ABLA Amateur Bicycle League of America IIRC, used to be the governing body for racing forerunner to the USCF. ;) .

Don't know about too many rallies this year, I am working back up in Richmond, VA so will be trying to ride up there and get home a couple of weekends a month. Plus a couple of months worth of work up in the Manasas area just for some variety :(
