Hi all
Apologies in advance for my blatant amateurism. could anybody help me out?
I have been attempting to fix up a Holdsworth Championship road bike circa 1978 that has been hanging in the attic for at least 25 years. I removed the chainrings from the sugino maxy crankset to clean off some oxide, but, when I came to bolting them back on, they just don't seem to to want to fix on tightly and they can be knocked off again very easily. They seemed fine before I took them off!
Anyone have any idea what the problem might be, assuming they aren't supposed to be like that?
