Anything off "Dark Side of the Moon". Truly a perfect record. "The Wall" is good, but if you listen to it too much, you get weird.

Dark SIde of the Moon on headphones. Like a religious experience.

Interstellar Overdrive for one song. Maybe Syd Barrett's reading this, I think he's got time on his hands.

I understand he's a cyclist, too. At least he uses a bike for running errands, that is.

Nice pic Moonshot! Ol' Syd looks better than I ever imagined, I heard he was hugely obese, but I think that was in 1971 or so. And I see his basket but where's the bell that rings and things to make it look good?

Even Seamus?

Seeing Seamus performed on Live at Pompeii was pretty cool. That dog sang the blues better than a lot of humans :p

I like the old stuff the best- Remember a day, Interstellar overdrive, Astronomy Domine, Julia Dream.... But there's a lot of good stuff from after that like Echoes, Dogs, Have a Cigar, etc.

Also like Syd's solo stuff a lot.

Today (January 27th), Amazon.com has "Wish You Were Here" on sale for $9.99. This is one of those "basic" albums that anyone interested in the music of the 1970's ought to own. I may be one of the few people who was around in the 1970's who can "certify" that I enjoyed listening to Pink Floyd's music without the assistance of any illegal substances. (Beer is still legal, right?)

The answer to the age-old question "Which one's Pink?" can only be Nick Mason. He is the sole member of Pink Floyd to have been a part of the band in every incarnation from the beginning. And....

...his vocal on "One of These Days" is a classic.

The Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles had a great laser light show to Pink Floyd. It was like getting high without the drugs, man.

Have they reopened it yet? If so, are they still doing that laser show or what?

Some years back I read a Pink Floyd bio titled "Saucerfull of Secrets", it was really, really informative; I highly recommend it, although I can't remember the author.

I would be very interested in reading any new biography when it comes out.
