Training & Nutrition - Fluid Trainer Warm Up?

I just bought a blackburn trakstand fluid trainer, and after about 10 minutes, the resistance increases substantially and then everything starts to vibrate. This comes and goes for a while and then disappears after 20 minutes. It's smooth once again after that. Kind of annoying.
Question is, do all fluid trainers behave this way? I wrote blackburn and they said the fluid needed to 'warm up'. Call me crazy, but I'm already nice and warmed up after 20 minutes. If I go for an hour, that means a third of my training time winds up being quite variable.
Is blackburn blowing smoke up my arse or is this just normal for fluid trainers???
Hasta, Navin
My CycleOps Fluid 2 trainer routinely warms up at around 5 minutes. That's normal. I definitely don't get any vibration after that though.

I didn't experience anything like that on my Kurt Kinetic...
Yes, it gets hotter but there is no difference in resistance (unless I start cranking harder gears ;)), or vibrations, during my training, starting with the first spin...
When I read the thread's header, I thought you're going to ask how long it takes for your body to warm-up when riding on a trainer, to reach your HR zone, never crossed my mind that a trainer needs a "warm-up"...

Weird - I did a quick 45 min spin on my brand spanking new Fluid 2 at least my heartrate vs. cadence notice a big difference. If my speed was on my rear wheel perhaps I could look at the calculated watts...
Edit: Wait a minute - I just realized I warmed up for the approx the same amount of time the trainer did
I use an Elite Fluid Trainer and experience no vibration or need to warm it up. Myself however, warm up still takes forever.
I have never had any amjor shaking on my travel trac fluid trainer, unless im sprinting.

I got a Performance Travel Trac w/Wireless comp, and have never had any vibration at all.
Matter of fact, theoretically, as the fluid warms up, it gets less viscous, and actually gets slightly easier to pedal with just a hint of less resistance. The reason for this is because it is basically an oil filled resevoir, and oil thins out as it heats up. Mine warms up within a couple minutes, and has nice smooth progressive resistance thereafter. It is basically an Elite brand trainer with the Performance name.
For a Performance brand product, I really love this thing.

I have the blackburn and have the same thing, It must have different weight fluid than others, after it warms up (around 5 min) then everythings cool.
