I had Conti GP4Seasons on my bikes for a couple of years. They're tougher than any tire I'd tried previously and tough is what you need around Atlanta (a suburb of hell). They'll go through all kinds of road debris and trash without a problem. The only reason I switched to something else was the price was getting ridiculously high -- $80 per tire.
FYI: I switched to Vittoria Rubino Pro Tech last March. Only $35-$45 per tire and almost as tough as the GP4Seasons.

You can buy two GP 4 Seasons from Wiggle for about $47 each including shipping.
