Hey guy just got into fixed gear and picked up on a kilo tt. I know it's not the best bike in the world but I have fallen in love with this bike. Been messing around with it and upgrading parts until i can pick up on a better frame. I plan I buying a wheelset and have been looking at B43's and H+ Sons. Both look nice but i cant make up my mind. Can you guys hit me up with some info behind the marketing with personal experiance with either one of these wheelsets

Thanks Carlos

H+Son makes several different rims, but B43s are heavier than almost all of them.

H+son are a higher quality rim in my opinion, while velocity tend to cater to a more careless market of riders who would be pissed if they dented their rim while riding drunk going 20mph right into a tree.

If you like being a careless rider who can crash into stuff and your wheels won't get hurt because they're cheap and over built, then get those. If you like something lighter and with better finishes, H+son

You're probably comparing H+Son SL42/FormationFace with Velocity B43's.

I have FF's and they're a great rim, actually were under manufacturer's suggested weight, at about 600g a hoops. They're also stiffer than Lexington Steel.

Never have ridden B43's, and I'd like to keep it that way. Although I had a set of first gen deep v's. They were coo.
