Well if all else fails, they could just unclip and use their foot. Go fast enough, and you could spark down the raod like those dragging mini trucks.

Only thing I'd be concerned with is whether they're made in the same factory as the high-dollar Shimano ones. I buy the 4 for $4.00 pack from Performance and who knows whether they are affected or not since you don't know who they're made by.

Pfft, shimano cables? HA! A waste of cardboard and printing ink to retail a cable? I don't know bout you guys but my LBS buys cables that aren't all twisted up at POP in boxes of a thousand or more. And the part with em for fitty cent unless your known to them and then they're free.
