Winter Cycling - How fun was that?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I went on my first winter ride last night and what a blast. I felt like a kid again. I will definetly be doing more of that!

Ain't it cool. I feel the same way, 45 going on who knows. Got to enjoy it. It makes the winter go by especially with no n.h.l.[no arguing,no pools,no bragging etc.]

Welcome to the club.
If you don't already have one start building a beater SS/Fixed.
The joy of winter cycling is increased by not having to worry about something going wrong with your equipement.
Enjoy

To say nothing of the fact that up there in Ottawa there will be a fair number of times when a freewheel will be too cold to work properly unless you repack it with a lighter grease or grease/oil mix.
Ottawa is the world's coldest national capitol.
