I have an OnGuard Brute LS 5000 Bike U-Lock that I use for commuting at college and leave it outside. I was having a lot of trouble with the lock not turning properly because it began to rust. It finally got the the point that I could not turn the key. I got some WD 40, sprayed it on the brackets and the key turns perfectly now. However, only one side of the lock will unlock. One side unlocks perfectly when I turn the key but the other side won't budge and I can't get the lock off. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to have to get the lock cut off since the lock was 40 dollars and only two months old.
