Have ridden only the mountain bike the last couple of months, - weather, road surface, riding with my wife on her mtn bike to be "fair," etc.

Got the road bike out today!!!

It was like flying - WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Now I remember why I bought a (two) road bikes.

Only had time for 1.25 hours (drapery rods, building bookcase took the rest of the day). But whoopee!

No longer have my comfort hybrid. Just use a road bike now.

I had a moment last week swooping around a corner. The road was about 75yds from the ocean and 10yds above it and felt just like that flying dream where I can sail noislesly over the landscape. What a trip! It's more like flying than flying.
