ok today i rode trails in palo druo canyon located just outside of Canyon, tx. its the second largest canyon in the U.S. and its way better than my previous ride in teh canyon/landfill in Dumas. i rode the lighthouse trail, the most difficult. its not difficult at all if youve been riding for a while and know when to pull up. it costs $3 a person to enter the park. i highly suggest you to ride in the canyon if you get the chance.

Looks like a sweet ride. Me and a few friends are hoping to get to do some riding like that on a trip we'll be taking next year. 70*, no clouds... it's just not fair.

What kind of pedals are you running and how do those new balance's hold grip?

im using these pedals
http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/11540-240_AZOFP2-3-Parts-65-Pedals/Azonic-Fusion-Magnesium-Pedals-.htm

my pedals are my favorite thing on my bike

and those NB's work well with the pedals. theyre just regular cross trainers. i wanna get a pair of salomons though.

How are those Azonic's holding up? I thought about getting them, but opted for the Sun Ringle ZuZu's instead. Call me stupid but what are salomons?

You need to get a riding partner so you can get some action photos :)

Is that a UFO following you around out there?

Appears to be a fun place, but totally different than here in Pisgah Forest, NC. Our trails look like that one with all the log steps, except they're roots here.... And lot's of mud....

Interesting sedimentary formations....

Wow! Looks fun! You should try riding in Cornwall, TOTALLY different, highest temp you'll get her usually is maybe 14 degree C on a good day, and the trails are ALWAYS wet...
Great pics though! :)

Did you ride that trail on a Trek 4300? If so, is it stock?
Good call on riding flat pedals with the the new balances. I do the same. The thought of cartwheeling down a hill while clipped into pedals just turns me away from clipless. I'll give up the extra pedaling effeicency and wear shoes and rides flat pedals. Too me, it's worth it.
