Haven't heard of that but some other Hoosier may have info.

You probably don't need this information now, but Carmel Cyclery rents "beach style" tandems. The wife and I rented one last summer to see if we were compatible and then purchased a C'dale RT2 and loving every 800 miles so far and can't wait for our next ride. They rent by the hour/day.
