More than two years later, and having his trial delayed NINE times, it looks like this SOB is finally going to be dragged to court to face DUI manslaughter.
But he's a little rich kid (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php/851749-Clueless-Wealthy-s-Kids-Over-Sharing-One-s-Wealth-amp-Privilege-Fuels-Envy-amp-Unrest), so does anyone really believe Carlos will be convicted?

I don't.

I think we have two things going against us. His money, and the hostility towards cyclists', by the legal system at-large. Because, Even if a cyclist was riding within the language of the law, the legal system forgets about a cyclist's right to be on the road, and treats cyclists' like they are anachronisms, instead of legitimate road users.

He's going to jail for a long time, no matter how much money he or his family have.
