Okay so i have been building up a single speed mtb over the last year. Its a old bike new components 26 inch tires. I'm running 2.2 graffiti UK's. I'm planning on running a sinz 175mm crank. This bike is supposed to be my city bike not to much incline but i need to be able to get up to a decent speed quickly. Any recommendations id appreciate it. The front chain-rings gotta be between 34 40.

Welcome to the forum. Check out the sticky thread on gear choices.

On my SS MTB I ride about 58 gear inches on the street and about 52 for trails.

Feel free to ask more gear related questions in the thread I linked to.

As a 5 bolt/110 bcd which is what the sinz crank has, You have a good gear range available. You can go from 34 up to 50 with a ss specific chainring.
