I lost one of them, and they were the best for me 10 months out of the year..
(they were vintage and im heartbroken)
Does anyone know of a good source for these?
the new aero thin cycling armwarmers are too tight and clammy. Those on the
Rivendell site (Woolywarm) look nice.
anyway, heres a pic of my lonely arm warmer,

but heres a better pic of it on me. i hope i can find these again.
I have never seen knitted arm warmers for sale, but I am sure someone could knit you a pair.
With a thick yarn and a tight stitch, you could have a nice warm (new) set of arm warmers.
And a good morning to you my friend.
I guess your right, thats what ill have to do
its just odd that im having trouble finding these browsing, everything is trendy fishnet socks along with "cycling specific" stuff on ebay, and google gives me nothing as usual.. haha
have fun

In the mean time try using a pair of warm tube socks with the toe box cut out.

That's 1 lonely soldier! Hopefully, you'll be able to retrace your route and get the one that's "missing in action"! I've never used the arm warmers since about 10mo's out of the year, I wear the long sleeve jerseys, jackets or breathable shirts.
man my grlfreid is a knitting master i have like 10 warm hats and mittens scarves now i think its time for some arm warmers

Ah dont let that one go!
If and when she makes them for you, id be curious to see what they look like, if you wouldnt mind posting a pic here.
A custom pair for me would be seamless, and include stitched thumb holes :)
Wool knit arm warmers are a great layering insulater for the arms, are very adjustable and can just be pulled slightly to warm hands, or fully off from under your shell if youre overheating.
I wish i could retrace it but i lost it on a ride in manhattan, i tied it around the seatpost for some reason, and it mustve worked loose.
anew
