Does anyone here use Fitocracy? https://www.fitocracy.com/
If you have never heard of it, it's a free awesome website where you log workouts and earn points and level up like an RPG game.
You can also earn achievements and complete quests for completing specific tasks you can also compete against people in duels where you try and rack up the most points or perform the most reps on a specific exercise etc within a time limit. It helps to motivate me to train.
However it's still in Beta and new features are still being added and the points system is still being tweaked now and then, but it still works fairly well. It allows you to log pretty much any form of exercise: weightlifting, swimming, running, cycling, body weight training martial arts, sports, dancing, even walking up stairs and carrying boxes and silly things like that.
It's aimed at getting gamers into fitness and that sort of thing but lots of non gamers use it, in fact i think there are more non gamers using it than gamers so it's pretty much suitable for anyone. It would be cool to have a Fitocracy group for people in these forums and every month we could hold a competition to see who can cycle the most distance in a week or earn the most points cycling something.

If this is in the wrong forum, I'm sorry as i don't know where to put it, please delete/move this thread if it breaches any rules. :)

Sounds interesting. Never heard of it but I work out 3 days a week and ride my bike almost every day so the competitor in me says "I bet I can rack up more points than a lot of people!"

But if it turns out to be dumb I will also come back here and bash the hell out of it.

What sort of workouts do you do? Free weight workouts earn a decent amount especially heavy compounds. But long distance cycling earns a lot as well.

My ex girlfriend got me into it. I was totally not interested but now I am hooked and I must say it is helping me get into much better shape. I am now tacking on lots of extra workouts just for the points and to beat her and her current boyfriend, lol.

When I am at the gym I find myself saying "i'll do 2 more sets of this and 3 more of that for the points" haha.

Nice, It definitely has a way of motivating me to work harder. Especially if i'm trying to break a squat or Bench PR and I'm nervous or afraid it helps me get under the bar.
