Now that I have an adjustable front shock, I guess I need a shock pump. Anyone recommend something or are they all basically built the same?

generally, all shock pumps are the same except for zokey. the coil sprung forks use low pressure to set the air preload because it isnt a total air fork. my marzocchi pump is schrader, but it has an adapter to fit the fork
I have 2, a no name model and a marzocchi high pressure pump. They both do exactly the same thing, they both go up to 300psi, the only difference is the no name is black and the 'zocchi is silver. Make sure when you buy one that you get the right type, either high or low pressure.

Yea i have used different shockpumps and they are all pretty much the same. Have a little gauge and go up to 300psi. Although on some i doubt they actually can get up to 300, but i dont think most people need 300psi on their shocks

Ya I have a shock pump and my friend does also, they seem the same to me. While we are on the subject...when i go to unscrew the pump from the valve, I can't get it off fast enough so that I don't loose any air. Is there a trick to doing it with loosing as little air as possible?
