Looking at possibly getting some Garneau panniers that Nashbar has on sale right now. Wondering what the opinions are of folks that have used them or similar models from them. Some good prices, but my experience with Garneau items has been inconsistent with whether they are good stuff or problematic.
I'm not looking to do serious long distance loaded touring with a $40 pannier. For the time being, just some weekend trips of 60-100 miles on my single bike, maybe the tandem in the future if my wife gets in good enough shape for it. No camping is planned.
I'm leaning toward the F-30's as they appear to have more external pockets for orgainizing things, but the Beta Streams appear to have a greater capacity.
