I'm getting a new eye rx, and looked into some of the better known cycling sunglasses makers (eg rudy project). The prices were too high for me, as in they cost more than my bike did.

Has anyone ordered from zenni optical or other cheap online mail order glasses makers?
They have some frames with inserts that should work for cycling. Can't link direct, but they are at http://www.zennioptical.com/mens.html (click on the goggles box on the left sidebar)

The prices are great, but have me nervous. But I can't afford the brand name ones anyway...

I have ordered several pairs of regular eyeglasses from zenni optical. I got a couple pairs as rx sunglasses, but not for cycling. I've been wearing my zenni glasses for over a year now with no problems. Even the ones I paid <$10 for seem as good as the 2/$99 ones I got at the mall previously. It might be worth it to see if they have any frames you like that they can put tinted rx lenses into for you. Their prices are good and I've been happy with their service.

My bf has gotten eyeglasses from 39dollarglasses. He is very happy with them. Good service there too. If you Like their FB page you can get a $15 off coupon code (you can unlike and relike to get codes in the future)

I ordered a couple of pairs from zenni a few years ago. Cheap stuff. You get what you pay for.

Bookmarked that site. The last time that I attempted to wear some Rx sunglasses, something was 'off' about them and I was out of something like $120- and that was about 20 years ago. At the prices they're asking for, I'm willing to risk it.
