You may not have a choice. What size is your headset?

Both have 1 1/8th.

I agree with dirtjumps asessment.

I stand corrected. Ehh what do I know? I despise Manipoos

I figured that was the reason. :)

I remembered seeing a Sherman that was the onepointfive setup. I juxtaposed that onto the rest of the Sherman line incorrectly.

Been using that one for quite a while now. I'm also a big RS fan, but I want to try the new Pikes and Reba's before I can comment on them

Why isn't the Marzocchi Z1 not mentioned in this thread?

Good question. It's now been mentioned. Discuss

Cause he wanted an opinion about those two...so...I assume he doesn't have the coinage for a z1. Both the pike and the firefly are much cheaper ;)

That would be nice, i have not ridden either. I have ridden a SID, JUDY and Duke, i was pleased with all, of course the Judy will not perform as well as the sid or whatnot but for the price i was happy even with that. Plus you can get enduro fork seals for all rock shox stuff

From what I've seen, the pike actually looks like a really nice fork.... and yes, quite a bit cheaper than the Z1. The original poster didn't mention that he was on any sort of budget, so maybe he just didn't realize that the Z1 was in the same class?
