Most interesting! I read so many posts here by American cyclists who are afraid to tour anywhere in Latin America or the Caribbean. Ironically, many of them live in American cities where violent crime is completely out of control.

I'm glad to see you had a good time in Haiti. Your experience in the Peace Corp, no doubt, showed you that there's nothing to fear.
