Any of you find any good or spectacular sources for learning, that includes the test results?
Not looking to gain any more degrees or credits, just want to sweep out some of the cobwebs and maybe check out that Anthropology 1 course I never got around to.
The pragmatic capitalists appear to have already crowded up Google's search results with their scams; just wondering if any of you fellows and ladies have a preferred link.
Mercy bocu. :)

I used to work for a company basically selling college courses to people, most of them online... They're all pretty much a scam. Even if there is an actual free course you could take, you will be inundated with emails and mail from the school and any of its affiliates. You'd probably be best off just self-teaching. Or check out a community college in your area.

I ran across this lately. I haven't taken the courses myself, but every indication is that it isn't the usual scam.

Edit: bigben posted while I was looking for the link. This hooks up to Concorsia too.

I work for one of those schools, and it does seem legit.

I figured there must be something to it, since the radio AND the internet news were both talking about it; (though they were careful not to mention any URL's. :notamused:)

Thanks very much Bigbenaugust!! Dios bendiga sus manos! Reckon I'll give 'em a look...

This is exactly the kind of revolutionary windfall of information I envisioned when the internet became the Next Big Thing. (This and the end of Real Estate Agents [still waiting on the latter...])

Coursera?

I'm going to bookmark it on all of my browsers. May not get an actual degree, but it will keep my brain from rotting even more at a price I can offord.

I just thought it would make for an easier availability of Porn, so far I have been right.

Coursera?

I just finished my second Coursera course. Great stuff, some of the best schools in the world.

You can find a list of courses from Coursera and others (Udacity, EdX, etc...) at http://www.class-central.com/

I will now also sit here and wait for my employer to pay me for plugging them. ;)

Seriously, a lot of people in higher-ed are really jazzed up about the potential of the big experiment of basically giving the farm away for free. There are some very interesting stories coming out of this already. So if you do this and they solicit feedback, do give it to them.

I was going to recommend Coursera too. It seems like TX A&M, Cornell, and a few others have limited free offerings. How much googling did you do?

I envy today's teenaged boys. We used to pay top-dollar for National Geographics that had shirtless Pygmy women (who were filthy and half the time had a baby on their hip) in them, but these kids nowadays have access to more skin than Emperor Nero could dream of.
I tire of these breasts, take them away [clap-clap]
...Now bring me back only the left ones [clap-clap]

Sigh... I still remember that magic weekend I discovered internet porn... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72nrFIgFNB4) (safe for work)

Coursera sounds like a cool idea.
