I am running a UN72 shimano sealed cartridge bb with the Sugino 75 track cranks and have zero play.

can i still buy that un72 BB in english tread? PS, is it68x109?

i don't think that DA bb should have any play in it unless you've really abused it or something...the un72 can still be found but comes in 68x110. not sure how much of a difference that extra mm makes. i've been using the sugin 75 bb for about 8 months now. couldn't be happier. hope that helps a little.

Yes 68 English is no problem. The UN72 is now extinct UN73 is the replacement. If you can find a 72 go for it, but the 73 is fine too. About spindle length, this should help: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=83852. It all depends on your hub, cog and crank.
