Mountain Biking - Any riders in Doncaster ?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi All
I'm looking for MTB riders and routes in the Doncaster / South Yorks area.
Anyone out there?

Some great routes around South Elmsall, but they are very weather dependant (i.e. don't bother after heavy rain), and even more the further west you go.
Would post up on Singletrackworld, as you are going to get far more specific replies there.

Cool, if you fancy sorting something out for a ride let me know. I live near the racecourse.
I spend most of my time on the Retrobike website and as a strange coincidence we have a ride planned at Sherwood pines soon !!!
I'm always up for a bimble on a weekend.
I run this: http://www.facebook.com/retrobike.southyorkshire?ref=ts&fref=ts
And can usually be found lurking around here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=51
I pretty much represent the South Yorkshire element of the Retrobike scene, due to my being the only one daft enough in South Yorkshire to ride without suspension hehe

Hello again,
well how strange that two lads from Dony should come across each other on an american website, i live in Cantley. I love all aspects of biking but haven't really got into the retro off-road scene as yet, though i do have a couple of old bikes, a single speed and a town bike. At 50 years old i need all the suspension i can get off road and i ride a Spesh Epic. I work shifts and usually ride weekdays, Sherwood or the Trans pennine trail. I found your Fb page and sent you a friend request.
