Hi guys - finally signing up after being a bike commuter now for just over a year. Logged over 2,000 miles this past year on a 2011 Specialized Sirrus.

Was forced into bike commuting after my car died unexpectedly; got a killer deal on my bike by making a trade with my Starbucks Barista - who had the bike I'd be eyeing.

Love biking - it's caused me to hate riding in cars.

Oh yeah - here's the bike : )

Welcome aboard! Nice bike!! Was stationed at Ft. Ord in 1970-71. Wife and I enjoyed going to Monterey!

Nope - sold the car. Became a full time commuter for about year starting October 2011.

We did end up buying a second car a month ago, but I still commute via bicycle because it's fun and because of the health benefits. My wife likes having 2 cars, I can't stand it (maintenance).
