Mountain Biking - I just got Single digit 7's.

Just thought ide share that with you all. ANd tommorow i can actually have a bicylce that can be ridden (i was selling my brakes before to raise money for the wheels). So finally, after 1 week of being bicycleless i will ride. Of course its no fun being so cold and nasty snow out there.

Cool! i think its better riding in the cold, you get used to it over here thogh...

i hate it. And theres lots of nasty snow on the ground, none of the backroads are in good condition. So its all this dark brown snow

There is no snow in TN...hasn't been yet this year, supposedly we're getting some, but who knows. As far as brakes go...who needs em

thats not fair, i went to VA for vacation and i miss the inevitable heat.

I'ts finally starting to dry up here in CO, I made the mistake of trying to MTB bout a week after the snow, and my tires jammed up with all the mud. It got everywhere, the crankset, the front derauiler, it was really ugly. Had to take it to one of those self serve car washes.

I did that after going throw a construction site. LoL.

Yeah, that's the main problem with a really muddy trail. Gotta hose the bike off everytime or your just asking for mechanical troubles later. I don't mind too much, tho. Better than not riding!

I dont mind, i like maintaining my parts. I generally take apart the components when i am bored anyways so i get very good mileage from my drivetrain,

Yeah I need to take a class on how to work on my bike.

ITs what got me into maintaining my bike in the first place, they dont have the tricky jobs like parks site but they have a good reference for things the average person will do. ON the park site as good as it is its all buy the park this and the park that.

Well i don't need to know the really trickey stuff, so this site should work very well.
