I'm letting the LBS throw em in while I'm down there, how long does something like that normally take?

5minutes....to 45minutes...depending on the mech and how much work they put into it. If they chaneg the oil etc it takes longer. If they pull the spring, and replace it, its quick...

Please tell me you got EXTRA stiff. Stiff spring will still be to light for ya?

I had them get the stiffest springs they could find.

well i have only taken apart my old 1999 rock shox Judy for hte fun of it. I learned a lot frm that actually. I dont know what fork you have but to get acess to the springs all i had to do was get a 24mm (i think its that, regardless i used an adjustable wrench) wrench and unscrew the top caps on both legs. you remove it and there are the springs. big yellow things. you can have them out in minutes. I always feel uneasy about taking apart my suspension stuff now though because im always afraid of not putting enough or putting too much oil.

Sweet, dude! I noticed a huge difference when I got stiffer spring and elastomer for my Headshok. Have a good weekend!

I got my springs in today. The LBS squeezed me in without charge :D So anyways I took the bike for a short spin, it was raining so I didn't stay out long, HOLY CRAP!!!! I've gained anywhere from 30-40mm of my travel back. I'd so I have 70-80mm of usable travel now. The ride is much better now.

I bet. When I first switched, it was an incredible difference.
