You Might Be A Geek If...?

You've gutted and rebuilt your computer 5 times since you last changed the oil in your car.

OR!

You think everyone should have an opinion about Bill Gates.

…you and your friends think it’s cool to refer to yourselves as “The Lone Gunmen”

or

…you understood that last joke.
Then I'm a geek <sigh>

... or feel that it was as good as or better than the show it was spun off from and cried when it was canceled

On Bikeforums, GEEK is the new (and old) pie.

You might be surprised by this considering there are only 17 posts with “geek*” in the title. But geek is not proud. No, not at all.

Geek is a modern day warrior, today’s Tom Sawyer if you will. Geek does not need to live in the limelight.

There are 585 threads with “geek*” in the body of the post. Pie pales in comparison with only 384 threads. So all hail GEEK, the new old PIE, by demonstrating that:

I do believe the 1st...is geekier than the second...:)...

You might be a geek, if at a party, you somehow end up in a discussion debating the merrits of citrix vs a VPN with normal people around you only nodding their heads.

What if you ride a recumbent, call yourself a geek albeit and old or odd one, you are building a wind tunnel in your basement to test scale models of fairing designs, and you respond in this thread.

Then you are definitely a very interesting geek. BTW, I have always hung with geeks - they stimulate my intellect (what little still remains).

Speaking of OK, did you ever get my PM about riding? Just wondering. The weather couldn't be any better...

Sorry I'm sick at the present time. Been fighting it for a week.
