Anybody riding a titanium frame and towing a trailer bike or children in a trailer or a rear childs seat? I am currently looking for a new road bike and am considering titanium. Wondering if a titanium frame needs to be custom to handle extra weight or if a typical ti frame is durable enough to tow.

Any experience?

I've got one and I've pulled a trailer around with it a few times and didn't have any problems. I wouldn't sweat it

Should be at least as durable as a double butted steel frame.

Tow hitches are mounted to the Axle, the frame the wheel is in is secondary.

trailer-bikes attach to the seatpost, it cannot be Carbon seatpost.
