I have a M950 shifter that is missing the clear window - How would I go about getting one or has anyone replaced this somehow ?

Next might be to check with bike shops for boneyard parts.

IIRC that shifter may be configurable without the indicator.

Do you need the window on the left shifter or the right shifter? Maybe someone in this forum have an old broken shifter that may be suitable for you.

The SL-M950 is a 1997 model, I don't think the part needed will come up for sale very often.

I do have a SL-M950 left side shifter shifter window unit in my used parts bin. Problem is, I'm halfway round the world in Singapore. Any bidders ?

I actually need one for the left side (3 speed) and mine is the shifter/brake combo. I also am missing the under backside cover/guard.

That'd be the ST-M950 not the SL-M950.

Hmmmmm........this all makes me wonder whether these parts may be more readily available in Asia.
