Foo - What books do you read before you go to bed?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have several books I habitually read before I go to bed and after I wake up in the morning. I've tried reading during sleep several times but, it's never worked for me. Anywho, I generally read books on Recovery and Quantum Mechanics before I go to bed.

What do you read before you go to sleep at night?

I just cycle through fiction. Just finished a Harry Potter book and a murder mystery. Currently reading The Girl with the Dragon tattoo. Ocassionally I will read my Bible or whatever study I am working on at bedtime, but I usually like to do that earlier in the day.

I should see if I could find a copy of my old OChem textbook. That's guaranteed to put you out.

Here's the current version. I"m sure its sleepmaking powers are the same.

Before sleep I write a couple of pages in a journal and get things organized.

Mornings it is, NY Times, C.S. Monitor, Archeology, and Nature.

Before I had kids, it was Bible or crossword puzzles or both.
Since then... please. Shower, get in bed, become unconscious ASAP. Read earlier in the day when there is still a chance at understanding.

The Bible sometimes, lately 1984. I can relate with Smith. If he works in the Ministry of Truth, I must be working in the Ministry of Intelligence.
