Masters Racing (All Disciplines) - Battenkill reminder

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm in! I registered for the 60+ race. It sucks saying “60+” but that is the reality of aging up. Reworked today’s ride and even had my wife on board to try to enter me if I got home late. I pre-printed all the screens shots that she would see and highlighted the steps. She was a little disappointed that I got home to register myself. She is beginning to enjoy traveling and staying for long weekends at the big event races.
We plan to look at small travel trailers for next year. My two brothers in laws who race have lavish 5th wheel trailers. I don’t want to buy a truck to pull a trailer and will find a trailer that a 4 Runner can tow.

I went through that last year and ended up with the RPod.
If you think it sucks saying 60+, wait until you meet the peloton.:D

Thanks for the RPod. We might need a little bit more room. My wife wants two Captian/recliners instead of a sofa. When we camp there will be sitting around and we think the individual chairs fit our mature bodies better than a sofa/bed.
There is a huge RV show in our area in January that will have most everything offered.

I expect to be humbled in this race. The guys entered are from everywhere.

2K Pursuit 60 to 64 age
Gold 1 WORLEY Steven USA 2:29.218 48.252 km/hr
Silver 2 ROBERT Gérard-Louis FRA 2:29.902 48.031 Km/hr
Bronze 3 DAVIES Steve GBR 2:30.099 47.968 Km/hr
Worley is from Colorado Springs and one of the Vics Expresso guys. Vics Expresso beat my team in 2010 in Frisco for the National Championship in team pursuit without Worley. He aged up the following year.

I think this post should be moved to the 65 to 85 thread. After reading the 50 Shades of Grey Trilogy, I would opt for the sofa/bed +++.:D
