SUCKS. Designers, I don't care what they told you in college, It's not meant for page layout, buy Quark or indesign. Stop calling me with problems, get real software.

I've had no issue with Publisher for creating posters, programs, newsletters and the like. 2007 is currently favorite edition, very simple to get around. What's so bad about it Chris?

Try making a useable PDF that a commercial printer can use. When you contact a shop for a quote and tell them your files are Publisher, I promise they are laughing at you, not with you. That is, if they haven't hung up on you yet...

This. I don't care if people use it. Just don't call me asking me to fix font problems,low res image problems and color problems.

Even a hillbilly can use deltal floss to repair things, if not for its intended purpose.

People used to hand me publisher files for tshirt printing. OK $100 to recreate that in a real program.
