i never realy did i always some how had hot girlfriends so i didn't care didn't see any reason to care other then for chicks lol.now im in my 30s and dont care what anyone thinks of me long as they dont think im a mean person

In retrospect, I was always cooler than I thought I was.

I never made it as far as worrying about being cool. I just hoped I didn't look too idiotic. Now I couldn't care less (obviously).

No, in fact one of the reasons my wife married me was in her words "It's cool that you don't care if other people think your cool or not." I realized early on that the people who thought they were cool or others thought were cool were usually full of them selves. Plus krobinson103 said it very well FTW, when they don't like you they leave you alone.

Nah, I was Switzerland as a kid. I was decent at sports but not a jock, took part in arts and sciences but not a geek, didn't have enemies and was generally pretty kind to and got along with everyone. Had a good job in High School that allowed me better than average trappings the cool kids liked so I was never ridiculed. I had no need to be cool.

Define "cool". For example, the guys in The Big Bang Theory are not "cool" to trendy people, but they are very cool to "nerds". Some people like being a nerd and they have their own version of cool. So do bat-cavers, Emos, hicks, jocks, and furries. I think deep down everyone wants to be cool within their group.

Depends on how one means it.

I care that some people and groups think I'm an OK guy. In some cases they could even say I'm cool.

But if one means do I care if the cool kids think I'm cool the answer is Hell No.

I prefer to be warm actually.
