Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Okay I'll throw in, I can hardly wait for my new ride

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Yeah, I've read all the other posts, and sort of made a vain attempt to drop my thoughts on my new ride. I went by the LBS www.sunrise-cyclery.com to look her over one more time, and make a payment. It's a black GTB. I took pics with my new camera with a cell phone attatched. Haven't figured out how to post yet. The owner was there explaining he'd just bought a bunch of stuff from a bike shop going out of business. So I asked about a BB and track crank. He pulls out a Campy Record carbon fiber BB, sooooo light. He said he is still got a bunch of stuff on palletes, that he's going to go through and will have some stuff to show me the next time I come in.
This summer is going to be something... a new track frame, a new roadie, and my single speeds working. I just wish there was more of me to enjoy all of them at the same time. Once I get this camera/phone thing figured out I'll post some prebuild pics.
I've never had this much fun over a friggin' bike.
Congrats. Sounds like you made a great find. Those GTB's just have a really nice look to them.

I don't recognize the letters "GTB", but I can relate to naisme's happiness.

we should start a cult of the GTB and sacrifice road conversions to the triple triangle gods.
any other GTB riders interested in such a thing?

Ex GTB cult member here. Kind of sad I sold it years ago when I got current frame. Wish I would've kept it for winter thrashin.
Some before picks. Sorry for the blur, shot with my new camera phone.
those frames are the sexiest frames..maybe not sexiest but they definitely appeal to me in a big way. everytime i see one it is always a 55cm or larger and that is just a tad bit too big for me and it is a damn shame!
Okay, the GTB finally made it home yesterday. And seeing how it is raining today I decided it was time for some pre build up shots. I want to ride this thing so bad!!!
The fork sucks, so I've been looking for another, found a deal on a used lightspeed carbon fiber fork. I ride a Schwinn with a Trek carbon fiber so... I don't think any one would object.
