In the wake of recent events in the world of cycling, I can no longer hide my past. I admit to doping with rhinoceros horn. I did not want to use these products but I was driven by unbridled ambition to win at any cost. I took these products between December 1941 and March 2016.
I don't care what anyone thinks about my actions and I hope that my confession can help bring positive change to the sport that we all love so much.
Without the dope, I never would have been able to catch the delicious bass.

I also confess to consuming liberal amounts of red wine and dark chocolate. I regret that in my darker days I purchased Two Buck Chuck instead of going for a higher quality vintage.

I may have sampled all the drugs listed above, but, in my defense, most of them were necessary for me to be able to ride that most difficult of all steeds - your mom. By the way, she said you shouldn't bring that sorry ass green bean casserole to Thanksgiving dinner this Thursday. You need to step up your game in a big way if you hope to get anything other than coal from Santa this year.

Dear Freds:
In the wake of recent events in the world of cycling, I can no longer hide my past. I admit to the use of performance enhancing substances. Some may already be baned or baned in the future, or, never at all. But, they certainly fueled my performance beyond what I could have achieved in their absence. The list includes but is not limited to water, all form of fruit, veg, protein in the forms of various meats, carbohydrates (including simple sucrose) and the occassional magnesium supplement. I did not want to use these products but I was driven by unbridled ambition to win at any cost. I took these products between November of 1969 and am continuing to do so to this very day.
I am truly sorry for my actions and I hope that my confession can help bring positive change to the sport that we all love so much.
I also confess to drinking alcohol in excess while in the company of friends as well as alone. I have even pushed my friends and riding companions to engage in use similiar to mine. Those who would not, I have, at times, ostracized and "unfriended". I wouldn't allow anyone to "follow" me on Strava who I wasn't sure shared the same dirty secret and was as deeply involved in 'use' of the aforementioned performance enhancers as I am.
I hope you can all forgive me.
