Anybody here see "Breaking Away" on ESPN Classic tonight? Thanks to whoever on here posted that it would be on, I would have missed it otherwise. Such a great movie.The legshaving scene is hilarious. It's just a great movie. The local "cutters" versus the IU college kids is an interesting dynamic and the father is a great character.

It's on right now (10 pm Eastern) again if you missed it at eight. Very good movie, a must see.

I've lost count of the number of times I've seen it. If I'm channel surfing and I stumble on it I always watch it till the end. I can't NOT watch it. :)

I also would have missed it were it not for the posts here, what a community! I really enjoyed the interviews with the cast after the flick, what a contrast between the young and older. Great movie to see onece every 10 years or so.

Even though I've seen it a kazillion times, I watched some on ESPN. The popup messages on the bottom of the screen annoyed me top no end. Very distracting.

Wow, those were terrible. Most of them had NOTHING to do with the movie either. Did you know Dennis Quaid has been in like a thousand sports movies even though as a child he thoughtr he was to small to play sports? or that Daniel Stern was a pisces who enjoys long walks on the beach and reading english poetry? Well, I made up that last bit, but you see what I'm saying :rolleyes: .
