As I had access to their CDs (and many, many others) - they have been on my iPods for years.

I've got about 165 gigs of music in my iTune collection. And I've spent less than $1000 on my collection from Apple. Except for my son's additions of Phish none of this came from online filesharing. Our local library has an extensive music collection of all genres that was my main source and the rest was CDs borrowed from friends.

Great, another bunch of old guys raking in another $100 million a year for nothing.

Don't get me wrong, I can arc up to an AC/DC song like anyone else -- after all, I am mostly a proud Australian -- but these guys just get richer and richer.

I am like ahsposo... either buy or borrow the CDs and I don't have to worry about manipulation of the rights to exclude me from using what I have bought on various devices.

iTunes can kiss my butt, for all I care.
