She is a 12 year old Lab. She is one of the most regemented dogs I have ever heard of, and the most loving one too. Any pictures of your pets?
My dog has about a 50 word vocabulary. We joke around and want to get one of those signs that say "working dog, do not touch" so that we can bring her into restaurants and wherever we go. Unfortunately, with her size being small, I don't think anyone will believe she is a dog that caters to the handicapped

What a way to spend the evening!
My parents just got a puppy. Her name is Peppermint Patty, or Patty for short. Our last family dog was Snoopy, so we are sticking to the Peanuts theme. She is a Lhasa Apso/Dachsund mix.

Here we go first, Grey(In the Back) and Zac(My dads(RIP) dog also RIP) Next pic is all the dogs, Curly the Husky, Grey, and the blob in my hands is Schultz. (Also featuring cool new single speed) I am having trouble finding pictures small enough, I will add the rest of the brood after I get some stuff resized.
Here are my babies. First one is Browndog, a fat lazy pitbull. Second is Nena, the ADD rottweiler. And the big one is Brutus (aka Little Bear), a golden retreiver.

What kind of dog is Grey? Looks like a shepherd mix.
Here's my dog, his name is Zac and he is the biggest sook there is. When he was in the lotus he got scared because it was louder than the other car and he was cowering accross the centre console the whole trip. He eats all vegetables (he could be a vegatarian if we made him). He wore one of those hats that come out of Christmas bonbons on christmas and was afraid of a snowman I made in the middle of spring in Adelaide out of the left over ice from mys siters 18th. But I still love him because he is so cute.

Q: Do you bath you're rats? Like put them in a tub of warm water and use shampoo etc.?
or do you just leave personal hygiene up to the rats?
I had a rat in behavioral psych lab in college. His name was Ralph(named after my DH's boss). Funny thing, the rat was actually smarter than my DH's boss ;)

They do a remarkable job of keeping themselves clean... to the tune of 6-8 full 'baths' a day. Our older ones as they loose mobility and thend to go where they lay, will get a clean towel and a wash-up twice a day.
A feew of them actually like water. Our Brando, Oscar's mom loves to play in the garden fountain (high diving from the upper level into the pool) and has on occassion jumped from my shoulder while I'm doing dishes in to a sink full of soap suds... she's a crazy girl :)

Heres a quick story. A friend built up a 49' Harley with a sidecar for his dog. He left N.C. and rode to Alaska and back. 44 days and camped the whole way. Now that would be awsome!
Most of my dogs pics are on my other computer. Sadly, Auster died last Sept. of bloat. I can't get another dog right now, so bikes are filling that hole in my heart (and taking up all that extra cash).
Some great looking dogs here! ANd I love the rat. I hear rats make really good pets. The only sad thing is they don't live very long. I like the ones with the black heads and white bodies.

Thanks Wabbit! They do make wonderful pets, especially good for the elderly. They're low maintenence, no need to walk them and they don't take up a lot of room. Generally, people with dog and cat allergies aren't reactive to rats.
True, rats have a rather short lifespan... the best we 've got is 3 years. But there is so much love shared in those three years, and to watch them grow, gain trust & learn is so rewarding.
To tell the truth, there is no ugly rats :)

Here's my two cats when they were kittens.
The black one used to get on top of the front door by climbing up the screen door.
Here's another attempt at a picture of Sassy
my GSD. she's a South African import
(rescued her while I was living there).
Also have something that is disguising itself
as a cat, I'm pretty sure its a lesser demon
from the 3rd circle of hell, chases the dog
and everyone else in the family around the house.
I'd show you pictures but the camera keeps burning.

stacey, cute rats! ANd more great looking dogs.
There are these two blind women who come to the gym and bring their guide dogs. The dogs are so sweet! They just sit there while people run by on the track. They're better behaved than most kids I see, that's for sure. I know you're not supposed to pet guide dogs, but it's so hard to resist sometimes. Same thing with the Canada customs dog. They have this cute beagle who smells luggage while you're waiting in line, and the dogs wear adorable little jackets with the canada customs logo. You just want to feel their velvety ears. And same thing when you see little baby ducks at the park! They're like little brown puffballs, you just want to scoop them up and hold them next to your cheek like a powder puff. I know this makes me sound like a total idiot.
Speaking of dogs. What is it with dogs and cheese? THey'll do anything for cheese. Even say "Cheese" and their ears perk up. They live for cheese!
Here's a pic of my new foster. Luther was hit by a car, but is slowly recovering. He's real cute too! Just played with the toys for the first time last night.
Please excuse the pic quality. I just got a new mini cam and an figuring out how to take pics without flash :).

Back in high school, whenver one of the kids bought a porsche to school, all the girls would hear about it and there would be a big crowd of chicks outside after school.
Why do you have a gate at the bottom of the stairs...
To keep the dogs from going upstairs and feasting on cat box crunchies.

Went down to the pound today and look at a pure Mutt(Lab/Huskey/ect mix) 2 years old and very cute. I called back to say hold on to her. I'll take her.
thank you!!!

It is not a demonically-possessed cat, it IS a lesser demon from the third circle of hell
(with a very sore leg and being affectionate today, scary).
