Any idea where I can buy handlebars with 25.4 clamp size and 46 mm wide?
I see the Nito rando model, is this my only option? Any ideas where to buy older hb clamp sizes?
Hoping to put wider hb's on my tandem (quill stem Burley Duet)
45 mm wide

ebay
or off an old bike
25.4 is no longer a common road bar standard
beggars cant be choosers
origin8 sport lite has 25.4 clamp, but max width it comes in is 44
origin8 gary 2, width 530, flared drops so actual hood width is unknown, might work
many flatbars are availble in 25.4, just cut the width as needed
VO porteur, are 48, but flared, choke up on the grip to be narrower

also, various Trekking and Mustache bars are 25.4clamp, and have enough hand positions to make the exact width irrelevant

Rando bend is 46 on the drops, I had a set they sold to specialized,, tops were 38 wide
Heat treated Nitto 'noodles ' are in 46 but 26.0 so it might be time for that threaded to threadless
conversion hardware to fit a new stem. [or a 26.0 clamp quill stem.]

A 46cm or 460mm bar would be better than 46mm, which is rather small at less than 2 inches. Watch your units!
Yeah, it would be easier to just change the stem. Use a quill adapter and then you can use any stem you like and change it frequently to find the best fit.

Yup, 46 cm :D
Thanks for the input, I figured I'd have to go quill adaptor.

You can get the Nitto Classic in 25.4/45cm as well: http://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/product_details.php?id=10113&category=635

Nitto has one or two classic drop bars that come in 25.4 clamp sizes, but they only go to 45 cm wide. You might not notice the difference between 45 and 46.
Obviously, you have a ton of choices if you go with a quill adaptor.

FWIW, QBP sells a black quill stem, angle adjustable, open face. 26.0 bar type an option.
