Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
...wondering what is the "socially acceptable" age range for 40yo's in this fine English Speaking country.
Half your age + 7 years is the rule of thumb.

And what about going up? Similar thing, my age -7 and times two? 66? That's a pretty wide range there, 27-66.

That's the minimum. Based on the same rule, the maximum is 66.

I thought about those and still haven't ruled one out. :)
I also gave out written exams. Sample question below..
1. What is an acceptable amount of time to be late bringing jdon's daughter home?
a) Being late is not an option.
b) No time. Being late will cause jdon to conduct a search and destroy mission.
c) No time. I understand jdon has mastered several martial arts and will use them against my dumb ass.
d) All of the above.

I've noticed it's always the boys that were the worst hounds when they were young that become the most concerned about their daughter's "maidenhood".
That said I am SO grateful I have a son. I just make sure he's got a generous supply of jimmy-hats and good running shoes.
