I would like to buy a Specialized Globe Live 3, large frame. This model is discontinued.

I like the design of the bicycle and I like the Gates Center Track belt and Shimano Alfine IGH in particular. I have my eye on other bicycles with similar equipment. I hope to see more Center Track belts on bicycles in 2013.

Don't give up. Eventually everyone gets his heart's desire in the Information Age.
My dog and I've been riding my Globe Live 3 for about 3 years and it's been a peach of a bike. Only thing is, you'll probably want to buy the little Gate Clikit.
In three years, I've had to adjust my belt twice. Still, it's pretty sweet not to worry about lube, dripping on my carpet, spots on my work pants; and if you went with a regular chain, you'd have to buy a chain tool anyway.
Try Googling "Craigslist" and "Globe Live". Also contact every Specialized dealership in your region, they might be able to order a leftover for you.
I bought my father a Globe Live 2 last year, and he & his dog have been very happy with that as well.

Got totally lucky with the dog bed. I just asked them to order a dogbed about that size, and it fit so perfectly that people ask me all the time, "Where did you get the cool dog bike?"
