Went with cowon i9 mainly because i juts want it to sound good and have better battery life then my sansa and went with grado s90i headphones since i hear they are very good for rock and metal was going to get a amp but thought thats to much to carry

THats sure is nice i had some decent stuff to found much in garbage can. it would have some easy issue like dirty pots etc etc

lol:) u should check out this thread ..portable audio is a huge thing to some folks id imagine a few have a few grabs in there setup they carry the dap a preamp and portable amp and headphones that look like they have 6 inch speakers on them http://www.head-fi.org/t/633511/pictures-of-your-portable-rig-part-xvi
